This volume is the result of our investigation of the carpet, that portion of the domestic space that moderates the hardness of architecture, making it cosy, mitigating the coldness of the floor and defining spaces and functions, without ever being cumbersome.
Often debased to an accessory presence in the home, we have tried here to re-evaluate it, dignified even though it is trodden on, deserving of attention despite occupying the lowest place in the house.
